A dashcam chase video has been released by police following a weekend incident. A Three Rivers man and two Indiana residents face a number of charges after an attempted armed robbery in Three Rivers. Click here for the video.
According to a Three Rivers Police Department media release, officers responded Saturday to the 200 block of River Drive in response to multiple calls reporting shots fired. Three armed men were fought off by would-be victims and fled the scene in a black sport utility vehicle, according to police.
A Michigan State Police trooper stopped the vehicle at an undisclosed location but it sped away. The suspects were eventually apprehended after their vehicle was stopped thanks to a pit maneuver executed by state police. The move resulted in the vehicle tipping onto its side.
The suspects, which include two Elkhart men, were charged with attempted murder, felony firearms and CCW violations, according to police.
