Jody Clipfell, 53

Jody Clipfell, age 53, of Colon, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017, from injuries received in a car-pedestrian accident in Colon Township.
Jody was born March 19, 1964, in Sturgis, a daughter of Philip G. and Louise (Drumhiller) Clipfell.
Jody had made her home in Colon all her life and was presently employed at Palomino RV in Colon. She enjoyed going to the casino and time spent with her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her mother, Louise Clipfell of Colon; the love of her life, James Goad of Colon; seven brothers and sisters, Ty (Sharon) Clipfell of Colon, Timothy Clipfell of Colon, Lorelei Blair of Nottawa, Katrina (Doren) Smith of Colon, Corby (Roberta) Clipfell of Bronson, Rowdy (Tammy) Clipfell of Colon and Thad (Lovina) Clipfell of Colon; an uncle, Junior (Florence) Drumhiller of Colon; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Philip, in 2013.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursdays at Schipper Funeral Home in Colon. Funeral services celebrating the life of Jody Clipfell will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2017, at the funeral home, with the Rev. David J. Farrell officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Colon.
