A Bangor man was seriously injured after he was involved in a single-vehicle crash earlier this week in Cass County.
Sheriff Richard Behnke said deputies were called shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday to the intersection of M-40 and Bald Hill Street in Newberg Township.
Upon arrival, deputies administered first aid to 24-year-old William Peterson.
Peterson told deputies he was traveling west on Bald Hill Street when he lost control of his vehicle.
Peterson was transported to Three Rivers Health by Newberg ambulance and subsequently air lifted to Bronson Hospital.
Seatbelts were used and alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the incident.
