An Indiana woman was arrested on several charges after she refused to stop for a speeding violation earlier this week in Mottville Township.
State police attempted to stop the vehicle around 11 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 12 near Vistula Road.
The driver, a 26-year-old woman from Plymouth, Ind., refused to stop and accelerated to speeds between 75 and 85 miles per hour, according to authorities.
During the pursuit, the suspect’s vehicle rammed a state police patrol car and struck a bystander’s vehicle. There were no injuries.
The pursuit continued into the residential portion of Constantine and ended on U.S. 131 at Riverside Drive.
The driver was arrested for felonious assault, fleeing and eluding, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, operating under the influence of drugs, reckless driving, hit-and-run, and resisting arrest, according to authorities.
