Sturgis Knights contribute funds

The Sturgis Knights of Columbus Council 2508 made donations to St. Joe Community Co-op and Pathfinders Education Center from the Tootsie Roll drive recently held in Sturgis.
Pathfinder Educational Center is a centralized Special Education Facility operated by St. Joseph County ISD that provides life skills training to students in special education age 3 to 26 years of age. Students come from the nine local school districts in St. Joseph County. Five off-site programs are also in operation.
The St. Joe Community Co-op helps individuals with developmental and mental disabilities and those who are chronically unemployed, to gain the skills necessary to gain competitive employment, in our county, and either maintain long-term employment, or move on to better opportunities, so they can realize their full potential and better contribute to our county’s workforce needs.
