Bettie Henegar, 74

Mrs. Bettie Sue Henegar, age 74, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 21, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 7th, 1943 in Tazewell, TN., the daughter of the late Dewey and Leva (Reed) Collins.
On June 7th, 1967 Bettie Sue was united in marriage to Mr. Carl Henegar. They moved to Three Rivers from Monroe, MI and have been long time residents here. Betty was a beautiful homemaker and raised her five children in a loving and caring home. She enjoyed interior decorating, working in the yard and planting flowers, and loved a good cup of coffee.
Bettie was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Karen Smith; and three brothers, Troy, Fred, and Guy Collins.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband of fifty years, Carl W. Henegar, of Portage, MI.; three daughters, Rittia (David) Morris and Darlene Vaillancourt, both of Portage, MI., and Patricia (Joseph) Amadio, of Marcellus, MI.; two sons, Wayne (Connie) Henegar, of Three Rivers, and Bryan (Robyn) Hoffer, of Muncie, IN.; one sister, Sharon Germani; one brother, Lloyd Collins. Thirteen grandchildren, Brandon, Hollie, Austin, Katie, Kayla, Garrett, Breiann, Corey, Lance, Josh, Haleigh, Antonio, and Domonic. Fifteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the New Hope Assembly of God Church, 56552 Buckhorn Rd., Three Rivers, with Pastor Steve Miller and Sharon Germani officiating.
Interment will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
