Patricia L. Peasley, age 84, of Middlebury, IN, formerly of Three Rivers, died on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at her home. She was born January 19, 1933 in Elkhart a daughter of Charles and Catherine (Thillman) Parks. Patricia attended schools in Bristol. On February 15, 1952 she married Charles Peasley Sr. in Hereford, SC. He preceded her in death December 17, 2013.
Patricia worked at Meijer in Three Rivers retiring in 2011. She previously worked at Bill Robinson Wood Products, Edwardsburg, Arby’s and Big Boy of Three Rivers. Patricia was a member of retread motorcycle club and enjoyed gardening, knitting, crochet, woodworking, ceramics, butterfly’s and birds. Patricia cherished and loved her grandchildren.
Surviving are her son Charles Peasley Jr. Bristol, daughter in law Cindy Gingerich, Shipshewana, Dae Brown, White Pigeon, grandchildren Cary, Stacey, Charlie, Stanley, Shelley, Amber, Kirby, Joshua and Stephanie, several great grandchildren siblings, Mary Ann Nihart, White Pigeon, Phillip Ray Parks, Elkhart, sister in law Marla Parks, Bristol..
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Stanley and Douglas Peasley, grandson Michael Peasley, sisters Mollie Sherer, Frances Zinn, brothers Richard, Dennis, John and Thomas Parks , step siblings, Melvin, Donald, Levi, and Louis Parks, Alice Leist, Romain Royce and Effie Parks .
Relatives and friends will be received at the Eley Funeral Home, Constantine Thursday from 4 – 7 pm. Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bristol. Father Bob VanKempen will officiate.
