Police investigate hit and run

A hit-and-run incident over the weekend in Park Township is under investigation by state police.
According to a state police media release, a vehicle was heading north on U.S. 131 before 7 a.m. Saturday when it left the roadway around M-216 and struck several small trees in a resident’s yard.
Debris at the scene indicates the vehicle is a mid to late 1990s Dodge Stratus or Chrysler Cirrus.
Investigators suspect the vehicle sustained extensive cosmetic front-end damage as a result of the crash.
