Richard Pugh, 65

Richard Duane Pugh, age 65, of Burr Oak, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers.
He was born Nov. 18, 1951, in Bronson, a son of the late Wilmer “Jack” and Mary (Bekoski) Pugh.
Richard grew up in Burr Oak and attended Burr Oak schools. He was employed by ACM Plastics in Sturgis.
He enjoyed fishing, picking asparagus and bottle hunting.
Richard is survived by two brothers, Leroy (Pam) Pugh of Burr Oak and Larry (Angie) Pugh of Sturgis; a sister, Linda (Kenney) Frohriep of Sturgis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Edward Pugh.
The family will receive relatives and friends 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Schipper Funeral Home in Colon. A memorial service celebrating the life of Richard will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. David J. Farrell officiating. Private burial of ashes will take place at a later date.
