A Calhoun County man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident last week in Lockport Township.
State police said 45-year-old Jerry Michielsen of Burlington Township was driving south on Strobel Road at 11:30 a.m. Friday, when he failed to stop at the Hoshel Road intersection. Investigators said Michielsen’s vehicle struck an eastbound car driven by 21-year-old Kalvin Ludwig of Three Rivers.
Michielsen was airlifted to Borgess Medical Center and reported in stable condition. Ludwig received minor injuries, according to authorities.
