An Elkhart woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident last week in Cass County.
Sheriff’s officials said the incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. Friday on Calvin Center Road, near Starbrick Road, in Mason Township.
Investigators said 25-year-old Trevor Bennett of Elkhart was driving south on Calvin Center Road when his vehicle was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by Thomas Rea, of Edwardsburg. Deputies said Rea disregarded a stop sign, resulting in the collision.
Taneshea Wilson, a 23-year-old passenger in Bennett’s vehicle, was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for minor injuries.
