John Jones, 59

John Paul Jones, age 59, of Sturgis, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at his home.
He was born July 31, 1957, in Three Rivers, a son of the late George Alfred and Alice Luella (Fox) Jones.
John resided most of his life in the Sturgis area and was a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1975.
He was currently employed by Sturgis Molded Products in Sturgis and was an over-the-road truck driver for many years.
John was an avid reader.
He is survived by his cousins.
Visitation will take place 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis.
Funeral services honoring and celebrating the life of John Paul Jones will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dennis DeMott of First Baptist Church of Sturgis will officiate. A graveside committal will follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis.
Memorial donations would be appreciated to the charity of one’s choice .
