Police raid home, make arrest

A 40-year-old Nottawa man was arrested late Friday night after his home was raided by police.
Investigators from the St. Joseph County Area Narcotics unit obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 23000 block of River Run Road in Nottawa Township.
SCAN unit members had gathered information about distribution and use of methamphetamine at the home, according to authorities.
Police said because of threats the suspect allegedly made against law enforcement officers, the county’s Special Response Team was used during the 10:45 p.m. raid.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident and was being held in the St. Joseph County Jail where he faces several drug-related charges.
