Three people were arrested on drug-related offenses last week in the city of Dowagiac.
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team was alerted to an impending drug sale July 13 in the 600 block of North Front Street.
Two male occupants in the vehicle were detained and a third female was arrested shortly after exiting a nearby store. The 32-year-old woman, a Kalamazoo resident, was charged with conspiracy to deliver meth, possession with intent to deliver and destruction of evidence. Dowagiac Public Works employees were called to the store after its women’s bathroom toilet was found out of commission.
A bag of meth and syringes were retrieved from the inner plumbing of the toilet, authorities said.
A 47-year-old man from Allegan was also arrested on unspecified warrants.
Charges against the second man were not indicated in a department media release.
