Richard G. “Dick” Arbogast, age 63, of Colon, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born in Evart, MI on July 17. 1954 the son of Lester Albert Arbogast and Etta Louise (McMichael) Arbogast. Dick worked briefly at Crocker Limited in Three Rivers, was a semi-truck driver, and had worked at several manufactured housing companies in Northern Indiana. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, camping and mushrooming.
Dick is survived by his former wife, and still companion, Suzanna Arbogast of Colon; six children, Greg (Lauren) Arbogast of Muncie, IN, Nichole Dean, and Brock Arbogast both of Kendallville, IN, Lester Arbogast of Albion, IN, Anna Arbogast of Holland, and Amanda Arbogast of Colon; ten grandchildren; four brothers, Larry (Lou Ann) Arbogast of Lowell, Robert and Dave Arbogast of Sturgis, and Mike Arbogast of Sturgis; a sister, Dianna Hahn of Arizona; several nieces and nephews. He was pre3ceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister, Lois.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. Funeral services will be at 5 pm Saturday, July 29. 2017 at the funeral home with Rev.
