Organizers of last weekend’s Centreville Covered Bridge Days have announced winners of the various competitions staged over the course of the three-day festival, which concluded Sunday.
The winners of Friday’s River Country Has Talent were Courtney Hollenbeck of Centreville, Kathy Yoder of Centreville, Brandon Minnis of Three Rivers and Kelly Mishler of Ligonier, Ind.
Saturday’s cornhole winning team was George Kauffman of Vandalia and Tim Hufnagle of White Pigeon. They pocketed $200.
A prize of $150 was awarded to second-place winners Steve Kauffman of Colon and Burr Oak-area resident Roger Kauffman.
Third place went to Eric Blakesley of Sturgis and Brandon Rummler of White Pigeon. They were awarded $75.
Sunday’s euchre tournament took place at The Local and was won by James Dissette of Three Rivers. He finished with 85 points and claimed the $200 top prize.
Second place and $150 went to Janice Butcher of Centreville.
Deb Fisher of Three Rivers and Marybeth Van Single of Sturgis tied for third and split $100.
