Karen Chaffee, 75

Karen S. Chaffee, 75, of Livingston, Mont., and formerly of White Pigeon, died Sunday, July 16, 2017, in Billings, Mont., following an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 22, 1941, in Elkhart, a daughter of Robert and Ruth (Signs) Chaffee.
She had been a resident of Montana since 2012, coming from White Pigeon, where she lived for 36 years. She was employed for 20 years at Union Products and later retired from Creation Windows in Elkhart. She was a pet lover and enjoyed crafts.
She is survived by a son, Curtis Chaffee of Livingston, Mont.; and a brother, David Chafee of Edwardsburg. Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Nancy Chaffee; and three brothers, Thomas, Robert and Walter Chaffee.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2017, at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon. Services will take place at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart. Donations may be directed to the family.
