Roudie Flowers, 48

Roudie Lynn Flowers, age 48, of Sturgis, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
He was born April 24,1969, in Sturgis, a son of Michael and Delana Lynn (Hindman) Flowers.
Roudie resided most of his life in the Sturgis and Centreville area.
He was a talented writer of fiction and he loved gaming.
Roudie is survived by his wife, Stephanie Flowers of Tidioute, Pa.; his father and stepmother, Michael and Robin Flowers of Nashville, Tenn.; a half-brother, Cody Flowers of Nashville; an aunt, Debra (Gary) Kindig of Spring Hill, Tenn.; uncles Keith Flowers of Burr Oak, Richard (Margaret) Flowers of Burr Oak, Roland (Janet) Flowers of Beaverton, Alfred (Mary) Flowers of Centreville and Randy Flowers of Burr Oak; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and an uncle, Danny Flowers.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Roudie’s life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 22, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1111 Galyn St., Sturgis.

The Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, is entrusted with the arrangements.
