Sturgis students tour Germany

The 2017 Wiesloch Sister City Exchange between Sturgis and the German town was experienced earlier this month by 16 Sturgis High School students and their two teacher chaperones.
The students participated in the longstanding exchange program between the two sister cities.
Students left Sturgis June 19 and returned July 10. The exchange occurs annually and lasts three weeks.
Their travels in Germany included Heidelberg, Dilsburg, Mannheim and Berlin.
Students in this year’s trip were Katie Markus, Kaitlyn Neal, Madisyn Prichard, Hersh Vakharia, McKenzie Cain, Mackenzie Claar, Brianna Wheeler, Abdiel Cardiel, Jasmine Miller, Alexis Pueschel, Krista Hart, Sean Kosman, Baleigh Brazo, Maddison Allan, Hannah Bronstetter, and Katie King.
Chaperones this year were German-language teacher Allen Meyer, and Sarah Due, Spanish-language teacher at Sturgis High School.
All 16 students will be seniors this fall.
