Two Cass County residents were arrested on drug-related offenses last week in the community of Vandalia.
According to a department media release, the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team served a search warrant Thursday in the 16000 block of Hodgson Street.
While searching the residence, detectives located various pieces of paraphernalia for the use of methamphetamine. During the investigation, a-30-year-old male and a-34-year-old woman returned to the residence.
While questioning the male about the paraphernalia located in the residence, detectives located a bag of methamphetamine in his possession. He was charged with possession of meth and driving on a suspended license. His companion was charged with fraud and possession of meth.
