A Vicksburg resident was injured in a motorcycle accident earlier this week in Fabius Township.
Sheriff’s officials said the 47-year-old victim was driving north on U.S. 131 at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, when he was distracted by another motorist at the M-60 eastbound intersection.
The motorcycle driver failed to negotiate the curve, and the motorcycle went off the roadway and overturned.
The driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to Kalamazoo for treatment. He was cited for driving without due care. His name was not released.
