The St. Joseph County Association of Realtors has named Johnnie Decker as its 2017 Realtor of the Year.
The award is given in recognition of outstanding leadership and service for the association, the community and the real estate industry.
Award winners were chosen and recognized both locally and at the annual Michigan Realtors Convention and Expo, to be held this week at Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids.
Nominees are evaluated on community service, education, business accomplishments and service to the Realtor organization at the local, state and national levels.
Decker instructs a two-hour HUD class that provides information to her fellow Realtors about the entire HUD process. She has been a Realtor for 13 years and is with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Michigan Real Estate in Three Rivers.
