Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

A Middlebury, Ind., man was arrested on drug-related offenses following a traffic stop last week in Fabius Township.

Three Rivers police said officers were notified at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 22 about a reckless driver on U.S. 131 near Hoffman Road.

K-9 Jake responded to the scene of a traffic stop and reacted to the possible presence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle yielded methamphetamine, scales, street packaging and smoking devices.

The 34-year-old driver was charged with possession of meth with intent to deliver and possession of meth.
