William Routsong, 47

William H. Routsong, age 47, of Greenbrier, Tenn., and formerly of the Sturgis area, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017.
He was born Dec. 27, 1969, in Madison Heights, Mich., a son to Jerry H. and Gail (Hebel) Routsong.
William graduated from Bronson High School with the class of 1988. He then attended Ferris State University and received his electrical degree from K.V.C.C.
On April 6, 1991, in Centreville, he married Chandra Hasbrouck.
He was employed by Leaf Filters and Gutter Protection as their corporate installation manager and had previously worked for Champion Home Builders in construction for 25 years prior. He also owned and operated W.C.R. Construction.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Burr Oak and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors.
Surviving are his wife: Chandra of Greenbrier, TN; son: Dakota Routsong and his fiancé of 7 years Katelin Vandeburg of Three Rivers; daughter: Amber (Don) Howk of Bronson; mother: Gail Routsong of Bronson; father-in-law: Glen Hasbrouck of Sturgis; and many friends who he considered family.
He was preceded in death by his father: Jerry Routsong and his mother-in-law: Katheryn Hasbrouck.
Friends and relatives may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI 49091.
Services celebrating the life of William Routsong will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home with The Rev. Kurt Kuhlmann of St. John’s Luthean Church, officiating.
Interment and graveside services will follow in Sherwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the family, envelopes are available at the funeral home.
