Nicholas Demas, 67

Nicholas A. Demas, age 67, of White Pigeon, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at his home. He was born in Elkhart on February 7, 1950, a son of John and Jenny (Madsen) Demas. Nicholas graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 1968 and later attended Purdue University. Nicholas served as a sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On March 10, 1979, he married Diane Killian in Middlebury. Nicholas worked as a plant supervisor and manager at Kenco in Middlebury. He also worked previously for Fibre Converters in Constantine. Nicholas enjoyed fishing and hunting and cherished time spent with his grandchildren.

Surviving Nicholas are his wife Diane Demas of White Pigeon, son Eric (Rebekah) Demas of Constantine, son Christopher Demas (Lisa Boggs) of White Pigeon, stepson Greg (Amber) Baker of White Pigeon, grandchildren Grace, Audrey and Ashton Baker, Eric, Troy, Autumn and Alex Demas and sister Mary (David) Born of Estes Park, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John and James Demas, and nephew Nicholas Demas.
