Police investigate break-ins

Investigators with Michigan State Police are looking into a pair of recent breaking-and-entering incidents.

Troopers were called to the 21000 block of Major Road in Lockport Township, where a residence was burglarized. The victim told police the incident occurred last week between noon Thursday and 6 p.m. Friday.

Access to the residence was gained through a window that was broken out at the rear of the house. Multiple items, including antiques, were reported stolen.

In a separate incident, troopers responded to the 10000 block of Millers Mill Road in Constantine Township in response to a breaking-and-entering incident that occurred around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Entry was gained by the use of a prying instrument to open the front door.

The victim said construction equipment was taken.
