Three people were involved in a two-vehicle accident last week in Cass County’s Penn Township.
Sheriff Richard Behnke said deputies were called at 7:30 a.m. Friday to the intersection of Calvin Center Road and Brownsville Street.
Investigators said a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Cassopolis resident Dakota Lawson was attempting to turn west onto Brownsville Street when it was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by 25-year-old Zachary Morehouse of Marcellus.
Kassondra Milligan, 19, was a passenger in Lawson’s vehicle and was taken to Borgess Lee Hospital in Dowagiac.
All three people were wearing a seatbelt.
