Woman stabbed during residential breakin

A Three Rivers woman was stabbed last week at her residence.

According to a department media release, a man broke into a residence in the 600 block of 15th Street shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday.

The victim, whose age was not disclosed in the release, was assaulted as she called for help. The man, described as black with a larger build and wearing a mask, fled the scene.

A K-9 unit was called to the scene but unable to locate the suspect.

The victim was treated at Three Rivers Health for superficial wounds, according to authorities.
