Wings, Etc. announces expansion to Coldwater

A full-service grill and pub franchise based in Indiana has announced it plans to expand to nine additional Michigan communities.

Veteran business owners and Wings Etc. franchisees Gene and Robert Harrison are behind Wings’ Michigan expansion, which initially includes a site in Coldwater.

Gene Harrison said since opening Wings Etc. in Sturgis last year, it was clear the market has room for a niche eatery such as Wings Etc.

In addition to Coldwater, the Harrisons expect to open their third Wings location next summer in Port Huron.

From there, the father-son team anticipates opening a new location every six months across western and central Michigan, as a part of the company’s expansion strategy throughout the Midwest.

Wings Etc. was founded in 1994 by Jim Weaver in the South Bend, Ind., area.
