Blanca Weaver, 72

Blanca Weaver, age 72, of White Pigeon, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. She was born in Germany on January 22, 1945 to her late parents Gustav and Hella (Nuemer) Conradi. On March 6, 1963 she married Larry Weaver of Mishawaka. He preceded her in death January 15, 1987.

You would always see her in the summer and spring months outside tending to her flowers and plants, and she loved playing cards and Bunk-o with her friends and family. She also loved to cook and have family and friends over to her house for get-togethers. Anyone who knew her believes she had a heart of gold that will forever be missed.

Surviving are her beloved children: Michael Weaver of El Paso, Texas,  Diana Hughes of Dayton, Ohio,  Larry Weaver of White Pigeon,  Joanne Weaver of Goshen, and Nicole Weaver of Decatur, Michigan. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly and always took the chance to talk about how proud she was of them to anyone who would listen.

She wished that her body be donated to education and research to help others learn and understand the human body and cancer.

Relatives and friends will be received Saturday January 6, 2018, from 10 to 11 am at Eley Funeral Home, 280 S. Washington St., Constantine. Religious services will follow at 11am with Pastor Cliff Miller officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to West Michigan Cancer Center.
