Library offers computer assistance

Deborak Haak, from the Three Rivers Public Library, said it has one-on-one computer assistance available by appointment at its Michigan Avenue location.

Haak said library personnel can teach the basics of email, Microsoft Office, social media, and more. Anyone wishing to learn more about computer, laptop, cell phone or tablet basics is invited to make a one-hour appointment, then show up at the library with their device.

Sessions are available Monday mornings and Tuesday afternoons.

Services the library does not provide include troubleshooting or fixing malfunctioning devices, taking apart or replacing physical parts on a device, or participating in credit card or sensitive-information transactions.

An appointment can be made by phoning 273-8666.
