A Three Rivers man was arrested on multiple offenses following an incident originating at the Three Rivers Walmart.
State police said troopers responded to the store after receiving a complaint of someone attempting to leave the business without paying for two 32-inch flat-screen televisions. The incident was reported at 4:15 p.m. Saturday.
Store officials were able to provide the suspect vehicle’s description and license plate number. It was found a short time later heading north on U.S. 131 and stopped near the intersection of M-216.
The driver, 26-year-old Timothy Moan, was charged with possession of stolen property, second-offense driving while impaired, possession of marijuana and open intoxicants.
He also had a warrant for his arrest and he was cited for refusing a preliminary breath test, according to authorities.
