Eric Mow, 52

Eric Victor Mow, age 52, of Sturgis, passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017, in Sturgis.
He was born Sept. 17, 1965, in Sturgis, a son of Victor and Patricia (Krueger) Mow.
Eric was a lifelong Sturgis resident and a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1994.
Eric was self-employed in the package-delivery business. He delivered packages of all types throughout the Unites States.
He was a member of Sons of American Legion and a past member of Eagles Lodge #1314. He enjoyed traveling and one of his favorite trips was driving Route 66.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Mow of Portage; a sister: Michelle Adams of Lawton; three brothers, Michael Mow of Punta Gorda, Fla., Mark (Rhonda) Mow of Croghan, N.Y., and James Mow of Baldwin; two aunts; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, in 1986.
In accordance with Eric’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Private graveside services and burial of the ashes will take place at a later date at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis.
The Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, is entrusted with the arrangements.
The family suggests those wishing to make a memorial donation in Eric’s memory consider American Legion Post #73, 500 W. Chicago Road, Sturgis, MI 49091.
