Eugenia M. Fisher, age 91, of Pearl River, La., died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, following an extended illness.
She was born June 20, 1926, in Chicago, the daughter of Harold and Argentina (Berchiolli) Cinkel. She lived in the Chicago area until 1970 when she moved to Constantine. She lived in Louisiana for the past eight months.
She was employed as a bookkeeper and was a lifelong homemaker. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed her church, cooking, decorating, her dog Mr. Whiskers and most of all, time with her family.
She married Charles F. Fisher on Oct. 30, 1943, in Chicago. He preceded her in death in 1984.
She is survived by her two sons, Charles (Christine) Fisher of Constantine, Patrick (Janet) Fisher of Pearl River, La.; two daughters, Deborah Lawson of Pearl River and Mary Pat (Pat) Schuetzow of Constantine; 22 grandchildren; more than 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons Michael, Joseph, James, David, Ed, Thomas; and sister Marion Pearson.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon where services will begin at 1 p.m.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Pigeon.
