Theresa Seelye, 91

Theresa I. Seelye, age 91, of Marcellus, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018.
She was born September 14, 1926 the daughter of Leo C. and Sophia A (Fleckenstein) Wohlfert.  On April 12, 1947 in Marcellus she married Andrew F. Seelye who preceded her in death.’
Theresa was a bookkeeper in her younger years and was also known as Dr. Adams medical assistant for many years.  She enjoyed playing cards but truly enjoyed having her family around. She was the last of the founding members of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and a member of the Alter Society.
Surviving are her beloved children Allan (Barbara) Seelye of Marcellus and Linda (Randall) Blight of Livonia, MI ; daughter in law, Patricia Seelye; “adopted” sons Dennis (Mary) Savillo and John (Sandra) Savillo;  seven grandchildren,  fourteen wonderful great-grandchildren, three precious  great-great grandchildren  and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Andy of 66 years, two sons, infant  Michael and Donald Seelye and seven brothers & sisters.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 5 to 8 PM in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus with a Rosary at 6 PM.   A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Marcellus, MI. Burial of cremains will follow at Marcellus Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.  Online condolences may be left at Mater-Ralston Funeral Home.
