Applications for seven additional medical marijuana facilities were approved Monday by the Constantine Village Council.
Permits were approved for: JTD Distribution, a grow facility on Industrial Drive; MBWII, a provisioning center at 135 S. Washington St.; Constantine Products, a grow-and-processing facility at 675 Centreville Road; Constantine Products, a provisioning center at 160 N. Washington St.; and Pure Provisioning, a grow facility and provisioning center at 635 Franklin St.
The council last month approved applications for seven commercial medical marijuana facilities – two processing facilities, three provisioning centers and two growing facilities.
Village manager Mark Honeysett said the applications for a growing-and-processing facility at 675 Centreville Road, and a provisioning center at 160 N. Washington St. were withdrawn nearly two weeks ago.
Following discussion by council members, it was agreed to not accept additional applications at this time.
