Woman, children injured in Cass County crash

A White Pigeon woman and her children were injured in a two-vehicle accident this week in Cass County’s Porter Township.

Sheriff Richard Behnke said deputies responded at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday to U.S. 12, east of South River Road, regarding an accident.

It was determined that a vehicle driven by Brandi Bambrick, 35, of White Pigeon, was westbound on U.S. 12 and had stopped to make a left-hand turn into a residential driveway.

A vehicle driven by Terry Holiday II, age and community of residence not indicated in a department media release, rear-ended Bambrick’s car.

Bambrick and her two children, ages 3 and 5 years, were transported to Elkhart General Hospital for minor injuries.

Alcohol does not appear to be factor in this crash. Seatbelts were used by all parties, authorities said.
