GFM The Synergy Center has been doing just that. For over 13 years, GFM The Synergy Center has been the preferred provider of culturally sensitive counseling programs for mental health, substance abuse and support services in greater Kalamazoo. “GFM The Synergy Center helped me build my confidence and strength,” says Chelsea, one of our program graduates.
GFMSC’s mission includes growing confidence in the lives of youth and young adults in our community. Recently, we’ve taken things to the next level. We’re opening the UrbanZone, a culturally sensitive community center providing a youth-driven space empowering teens in education and entrepreneurial opportunities while simultaneously housing programs for mental health, substance abuse, and support services. Join us for our UrbanZone Opening House Thursday, April 19th in downtown Kalamazoo. We are featuring local entertainment, food, and the opportunity to meet our staff and some of our Youth Advisory Council from 3 to 6pm.
