Randy S. Zickafoose, age 53, of Sturgis, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018, at the University Hospital in Ann Arbor.
He was born May 13, 1964, in Sturgis, and resided his whole life in Sturgis.
Randy owned and operated G&B Tree Service in Sturgis for many years, a career he truly loved.
He was an avid NASCAR and fan of football. Randy enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycles and going to the casino. Randy had interests and hobbies, but what meant the very most to him was time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Kimberly who he had been together with from the age of just 16; three sons, Scott Zickafoose of Sturgis, Matt (Jessica) Zickafoose of Marion, Ind. and Brandon (Tonya) Zickafoose of Converse, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Regan, Damien, Heydin, Jesse, Lucas, Morgan and Brooke; two brothers, Jerry (Anita) Zickafoose of Otsego and Roy Zickafoose of Sturgis; one sister, Peggy Miller of Mendon; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jessica Ann Zickafoose; and grandson, Dominic Zickafoose.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI 49091, 269-651-3284 where a memorial service celebrating and honoring Randy’s life will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 7.
