Sadie Lynn (Haskins) Hoffert of Pierceton, Indiana, died on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born on August 24, 1973, in Three Rivers. Her parents are Gary and Cheryl (Milliman) Haskins of Jones. She was married to Matthew Hoffert on March 31, 2007, at the Constantine United Methodist Church. Sadie graduated from Constantine High School in 1993, was a member of the CUMC, and was employed as a crew leader by Subway in Pierceton. Heaven has celebrated the arrival of a sweet and wonderful soul. She loved her husband, her family, her dogs, her work at Subway, and NASCAR. Her husband, family, and friends will remember her as a wonderful, caring person who they loved unconditionally. Besides her husband and parents, Sadie is survived by her maternal grandmother, Helen (Horn) Goes and her husband Jack of Constantine; sister, Jennifer Miller and her husband Marty of Allendale; brother, Robert Haskins and his wife Shannon of Jones; aunts, Patricia Huhn of Grand Ledge, Gina Leister with Vern Thomas of White Pigeon, Sheila Thornton and her husband Jack of Allendale, and Wilda Haskins of Mendon; her uncle, Ronald Haskins and his wife Cathy, of Ann Arbor; her nephews, Alexander, Logan, Jackson, and Joseph; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert Milliman; paternal grandparents, Harold (Sr) and Celia Haskins; uncle, Harold (Jr) Haskins; and cousin, Joseph Huhn.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 13, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at the Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, Indiana. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, at 5 p.m., at the Constantine United Methodist Church. Visitation and a meal will follow the service. After cremation has taken place, a graveside service for family will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to Constantine United Methodist Church.
