George Koomler, 91

George E. Koomler, age 91, formerly of Burr Oak and Sturgis, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018, at Caring Circle Nursing Home in Benton Harbor.
He was born March 16, 1927, in Waynedale, Ind., a son of the late George C. and Tillie (Kroom) Koomler.
George moved to St. Joseph County in 1950 and to Burr Oak in 1966. He retired from Parma Tube.
Surviving are a sister, Ethel Sklenar of Roanoke, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Agnes Fisher.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 6600 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Ind.
The Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Road, Sturgis, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
