Helen Quick, 78

Helen M. Quick, age 78, of Howe, IN, passed away Tuesday May 8, 2018, at her home.
She was born Oct. 31, 1939, to Menno and Eva (Oxender) Christner in Elkhart, Ind. She married Garrett “”Wayne”” Quick on July 22, 1961. He survives.
Helen was a graduate of the White Pigeon High School. She had worked at Sealed Power in LaGrange for 40 years until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids and going on vacation with all of the family.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Ricky and Dawn M. Quick of Shipshewana, Ronald and Paula Quick of Shipshewana and Michael D. and Dawn R. Quick of Sturgis; two brothers, Harold Christner of Sturgis and Donald Christner and Sally Nolan of Sturgis; a sister, Pamela and Louis Mindes of Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange. Graveside service and burial will be held immediately following visitation at Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland, Ind., with Jake Schwartz officiating.
