St. Joseph County Animal Control, along with the sheriff ’s department, recently launched a Facebook page.
The page, St. Joseph-CountyMiAC, is within the county’s control and supported by its IT department.
St. Joseph County Undersheriff Mark Lillywhite said the page will provide information and verify resources to animal control supporters to help maintain the highest level of trust and transparency within the animal-control facility.
The page can also be used to help pet owners find missing animals.
Over the past three years, the Centreville-based department has had a major facelift, adding two large play areas, HVAC improvements, sound barriers and a records-management system.
