Two Marcellus Township residents were arrested on drug-related offenses this week following the execution of a search warrant.
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team was called Thursday to the 14000 block of Dutch Settlement Road in Marcellus Township.
Upon searching the residence, detectives discovered a sizeable amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, methamphetamine paraphernalia and loaded firearms. A stolen vehicle was located, as well.
A 50-year-old man and a 45-year-old female were present and arrested at the scene.
The man was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm, felony firearm, possession of a stolen vehicle, tampering with evidence, possession of marijuana and maintaining a drug house, according to authorities.
The female was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, felony firearm, possession of marijuana and maintaining a drug house, officials said. She was also wanted on a drug warrant out of Lagrange County, Ind.
Investigators said warrants are being sought for individuals not present at the time of the search warrant.
