Mrs. Nancy Lee Gottschalk, age 86, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 9th, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Nov. 14th, 1931 in Three Rivers, the daughter of the late Dwight Sr. and Dorothy (Youells) Monroe.
Nancy has been a lifetime resident of Three Rivers. She enjoyed her gardens and bird watching and loved to spend time with family and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gottschalk, whom she married on Jan. 12, 1952 and who passed Jan. 25, 2006; also three brothers, Dwight Jr., Chuck and John Monroe.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Kathy (Ken) Lawrence, of Sturgis, David Gottschalk, and Kurt (Robbi) Gottschalk, both of Three Rivers; one brother, Frank Monroe, and one sister Linda Dean. Eight grandchildren, Kevin, Kelly, Emilee, Robert, Austin, Tamara, Stephen, and Brittni. Ten great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Kennan, Klayton, Elliana, Jesa, Roman, Ainsley, Asher, Harper and Hayden.
In accordance with family wishes cremation will be conducted and memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Don Smith officiating.
Interment will be held following the service at Peek Cemetery.
