Police continue search for shooting suspect

Three Rivers police continue their search for a suspect behind the shooting of a 31-year-old Sturgis man last week outside Paul’s Pantry in Three Rivers.

Bobby Rouseau, 21, is wanted on charges of assault with intent to murder, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and felony firearm, according to authorities.

Rouseau was most recently seen near Mintdale and Engle roads in Florence Township.

Late Tuesday, officers from several agencies, including the Michigan State Police emergency support team, searched a home near the Mintdale-Engle road intersection. Rouseau was not located, but police found additional evidence.

Rouseau is a black male, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.

Police say he may be accompanied by his girlfriend, Emily Janet Gutierrez. She is a Hispanic female, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds.

Authorities said Rouseau should be considered armed and dangerous. He has been known to have an address in Brighton, Ind.
