Three Rivers Health nurse presented excellence award

A Three Rivers Health nurse has been recognized with an award presented annually to someone dedicated to improving healthcare for women and children.

The annual Perinatal Excellence Award was bestowed to Becky Comer at the annual spring conference last month at the Fetzer Center on the campus of Western Michigan University.

Comer is a registered nurse and has worked in the Three Rivers Health Birthing Center for seven years. She was selected by her co-workers because of her commitment to providing excellent care to the patients of the Birthing Center and her dedication to Three Rivers Health, according to her peers.

Comer is carrying on the family tradition of providing excellent patient care; her mother, Shelly Seager, a 37-year employee of Three Rivers Health, won this same award in 1997.
