White Pigeon crash injures two

Two people were injured in a minor accident in White Pigeon on Monday. Police said a vehicle driven by a 82-year-old White Pigeon woman turned in front of a vehicle driven by a 37-year-old man from Vandalia on U.S. 12 near Elkhart Street.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries. The woman was cited for failing to yield right of way while the man from Vandalia was given a ticket for driving without insurance.

LifeCare Ambulance and the White Pigeon Fire Department both assisted on scene.
