Investigation continues in Newberg crash

A two-vehicle accident that occurred at M-40 and Dutch Settlement Road in Newberg Township last Friday is still being investigated.

Authorities said a feed/grain delivery truck driven by Stanley Myers, 69, of Constantine, was northbound on M-40 when it was involved in an accident with a vehicle driven by Cheryl Dimmick, 61, of Portage.

Dimmick and her three passengers — Kelly Waters (43), Amy Boerman (41) and Susan Boerman (68) were traveling westbound on Dutch Settlement when the crash occurred.

The occupants in Dimmick’s vehicle were transported to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo for treatment. Myers was treated and released at the scene. Seatbelts were used and the crash remains under investigation.
