Three Rivers man arrested on outstanding warrants

On Tuesday afternoon, a 34-year-old Three Rivers man was arrested for outstanding warrants. Police were notified of the man’s appearance at the Shell gas station, it was also reported the subject had drugs in his vehicle. The first officer arrived on scene and the suspect drove his vehicle around the backside of the gas station and abandoned it, fleeing on foot through a southbound neighborhood. K9 Jake was deployed in the area and located the subject walking on the railroad tracks near Broadway Street. The K9 officer identified himself and the subject took off running, which allowed K9 Jake to give chase. Once the subject noticed, and was warned, that K9 Jake was giving chase he immediately surrendered as the dog conducted a bark and guard until backup arrived. The subject was arrested without incident.
